María Jesus is an Assistant Professor at Physical Therapist School at Universidad del Desarrollo in Santiago, Chile. As a graduate of Universidad de Chile, she received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She first earned her professional Master Degree in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2009 from Universidad Andres Bello, and in 2018 she finished her Master in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, from Universidad del Desarrollo. Coordinator of the musculoskeletal teaching area at Physical Therapy School and Academic Coordinator at the Master in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation program in Universidad del Desarrollo. She continues to deliver courses and lectures related to chronic musculoskeletal pain and lumbopelvic floor dysfunctions management. Maria Jesús has developed numerous Chilean and international conferences’ platform and poster presentations, and co-authored peer-reviewed documents, In 2020 she started her terminal professional degree, Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation, from Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTU-HSC).
