Esther graduated from Columbia University with her doctor of physical therapy degree. Prior to becoming a physical therapist she had a career as a modern/jazz dancer and yoga and pilates teacher. She began her physical therapy career as a traveling physical therapist and settled here in Alaska to work with Advanced. Esther has a special interest in women’s health, neurology and sports. She has taken several manual therapy courses including spinal manipulation, instrument assisted and more. Esther is also a type 1 diabetic athlete that has used her disease to not just better her own life but those around her through education and coaching. In her spare time Esther enjoys everything outdoors including hiking, cycling, running and climbing and has participated in high level endurance events, in multitude of environments all while managing her blood sugars.
