Nelson earned his Physical Therapy degree from Universidad del Mar in Chile (2007), and his DPT degree from EIM Institute for Health Professions in the USA (2019). He has postgraduate degrees in Health Education (2012) and Health and Sports Sciences (Chile, 2018). Current co-Director of The Advance Kinesiology Group, Nelson shares his clinical experience as a clinical instructor and faculty member for different Universities in Latin America. He continues delivering courses and lectures on pain neuroscience, functional taping, and skilled manual therapy techniques. Nelson recently received two Extended Reality Systems and Technologies certifications from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT.
